Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform adjustment of car height with simple constitution in high reliability, by controlling open-close operating valves on the bases of output from a car height sensor and car speed sensor, regulating a fluidic pressure car height adjusting mechanism and adjusting the car height. CONSTITUTION:When an automobile is in a state of running at low speed, open- close valves 4, 5 are operated to open and close by a car height control circuit 13 in accordance with output of a car height sensor 10, then compressed air from an air tank 6 is fed to air struts 2 for front wheels 1, thus front car height is held to a preset value of high car height. Then for the automobile when running at high speed, a car height mode by the car height control circuit 13 is switched to low front car height control. That is, when a high speed running state is continued for a prescribed time, the open-close valves 4, 9 are controlled by the car height control circuit 13 in accordance with output of a car speed sensor 11, then air in the air strut 2 is released through an air line 3, open-close valve 4, drier 7 and open-close valve 9, thus the front car height is lowered.
