Abstract

PURPOSE:To accomplish stable control on the operation of an evaporator for wide and rapid change of the load, by changing the sensitivity of a system for controlling the pressure in an evaporating drum according to the temperature difference of heating medium at the inlet and the outlet of the same. CONSTITUTION:When an evaporator is operated under a high load and the temperature difference of 15 deg.C at the inlet and the outlet of hot water, it is operated under an optimal controlling condition by correcting the output of a function operator 13. In this state, if the load is lowered rapidly, pressure in an evaporating drum is raised slightly, so that output of a subtracter 11 is lowered and that of a function operator 13 is also lowered. Consequently, output of a multiplier 12 and that of a pressure regulator 17 are both lowered. This causes reduction in the opening of a control valve 21, so that the rise of the pressure in the drum can be prevented. Thus, it is enabled to accomplish stable control against wide and rapid change of the load.
