Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the drive steam necessary for an ejector in relation to the required design conditions and obtain an assigned vacuum by continuously controlling the front pressure on the ejector nozzle in response to the temperature of the cooling water.
CONSTITUTION: Control signal is always transmitted from a pressure control unit 10 for the drive steam so as to make the pressure P1 of the drive steam detected by a pressure deteting terminal 11 correspond with the front pressure P in the nozzle 2 of a ejector 1 acting as the arranged value constantly computed from the temperature of the cooling water, and opening degree of the pressure control valve 12 is controlled. Thus, an assigned vacuum may be obtained regardless of any change in the temperature of cooling water. Consequently, the front pressure control at the nozzle 2 of ejector 1 which is superior in view of economy, operativeness ad performance by continuously controlling the front pressure in the nozzle 2 of the ejector 1 in response to the temperature of cooling water to obtain an assigned vacuum and minimizing the drive steam necessary for the ejector 1 in relation to the required design conditions.
