Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an overshooting of the temperature of a heat medium on a load side at the start of the plant by a method wherein a heat medium on a heat source side is flowed to a heat exchanger through a heat accumulator only at the start of the plant operation.
CONSTITUTION: Prior to the start of the plant, the heat source 1 is driven to accumulate heat in the heat accumulator 8. At the start of the plant operation, turn- over valves 12 and 13 as well as a flow rate adjusting valve 6 are controlled by a turn-over control mechanism 15, so that the heat medium on the heat source side provided by the heat source 1 flows into the heat accumulator 8 and after receiving the heat supply flows into the heat exchanger 3. Within the heat exchanger 3, the heat exchange is carried out between the heat medium on the heat source and that on the load side. When the temperature of the heat medium on the load side reaches a target value, a temperature detector 14 sends a signal to the turn-over control mechanism 15 which controls the turn-over valves 12 and 13 and the flow rate adjusting valve 6. In this instance, the heat medium from the heat source 1 is flowed directly into the heat exchanger 3 without flowing through the heat accumulator 8.
