Abstract

PURPOSE: To stably maintain vacuum degree for a condenser of geothermal power plant, by keeping the temperature of circulating water constant by provinding a system fitted with a temperature control valve, to a system of circulating water for condensate water, additionally providing a bypassing a cooling tower on the system.
CONSTITUTION: The vacuum adjusting part of a vacuum adjusting unit 18 processes an actual vacuum signal received from a vacuum detector 11 and adjust the opening of a vacuum adjusting valve 10. On the other hand, a temperature adjusting part of the vacuum adjusting unit 18 processes an actual temperature signal from a temperature detector 24 and adjusts the opening of a temperature adjusting valve 19. When the degree of vacuum of a condenser 5 exceeds the predetermined value, the adjusting valve 10 closes to decrease the flow of circulating water from a cooling tower 7 to the condenser 5. Accordingly, the rate of heat exchanged in the cooling tower 7 is increased to decrease the temperature at the outlet of cooling tower 7. The temperature detector 24 detects the decrease of temperature to open the adjusting valve 19 to flow the water from the cooling tower 7 in bypassing manner to the system 6b. The water joined with the circulating water flowing into the condenser 7 heightens the temperature of the circulating water, to keep the water at the predetermined temperature. Thus, the vacuum in the condenser is stably adjusted.
