Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent feedback control from being unintentional open loop control by changing monitor comparing level when an engine is in the high rotational speed or high load running condition.
CONSTITUTION: On step 60 is decided whether or not data N representing actual rotational speed of an engine exceeds a predetermined value. When the engine is not in the high rotational speed, on step 61 is whether or not data of time T in which the output signal level of A/F sensor is over monitor comparing level is larger than a predetermined value D. In the case of T<D, the A/F sensor is assumed in activated condition to carry out feedback control of air fuel ratio. In the highest rotational speed of the engine, the program advances to step 66 to controllably raise the monitor comparing level. Consequently, unintentional function for stopping the feedback control is avoided.
