CONSTITUTION:As for the liquid crystal panel which has polarizing plates 1 and 2 at mutually cross positions, glass substrates 3 and 4, segment electrode 5, and common electrode 6 and sealed liquid crystal 7, insulating coating 9 of a mixture of SiO2 and TiO2 is provided on substrates 3 and 4 and electrodes 5 and 6 on film 9 or said insulating film 9 covering substrates 3 and 4 and electrodes 5 and 6 is provided to prevent the conspicuousness of electrodes due to a difference in reflection factor at interfaces between substrate 5 and liquid crystal 7, and substrate 3 and electrode 5 when refractive index (n) of glass substrates 3 and 4 is 1.5, that of the liquid crystal 1.5, and that of transparent segment electrode (of SnO2)5 2.2.
