PURPOSE:To perform a simultaneous display of 2 types of time data being different in a type, by constituting a liquid crystal display part such that it is formed into a multilayer. CONSTITUTION:A first layer liquid crystal cell, consisting of an upper plate glass 2 comprising a segment electrode of a liquid crystal display part, a liquid crystal material 3, and a lower plate glass 4 comprising a common electrode, is placed to an under surface side of a neutral upper polarizing plate 1. A neutral middle polarizing plate 5, a second layer liquid crystal cell, a color (green) polarizing plate 9, and a reflecting plate 10 are positioned below the first liquid crystal cell. If a voltage is applied to the first layer liquid crystal cell, a polarizing direction of a rectilinear polarized light at the plate 1 is not turned at the first layer liquid crystal cell, and as a result, it can not transmit the plate 5, and this causes an electrode pattern to be displayed in black. When a voltage is applied to the second layer liquid crystal cell, a polarizing direction of a rectilinear light, transmitting the plate 5, crosses the polarizing direction of the plate 9 at right angles, and this causes a green pattern to be displayed.
