Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the utilization of active material and the productionability, by impregnating the electrode board with an active material through solution impregnating method then cleaning and drying the surface and performing negative electrolysis.
CONSTITUTION: When manufacturing cathode and anode boards for nickel- cadmium cell, active material is impregnated through solution impregnating method. Then the surface of electrode board is washed with water and temporarily dried, then further dried at temperature range of 110±5°C, for example, for about 5 min. and dried to perform negative electrolysis. Said temporal drying improves the electrolytic efficiency and the utilization of active material.
