Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the coating not having an uneven color and rough surface at a low cost, by electrolyzing at a specific low electric current density for a specific time previously and after that, electrolyzing at the normal current density in the same bath at the anodic oxidation treatment of aluminum using organic acid.
CONSTITUTION: Electrolysis is performed at 0.1W0.5A/dm2 low electric current density for 5W20min previously, on occasion of performing the anodic oxidation of aluminum by using the electrolyte containing organic acid, such as sulfosalicylic acid. After that, the anodic oxidation is performed at 1W4A/dm2 normal current density in the same bath. Hereby, an even coating is slowly formed and uniform beautiful coating is obtained.
