Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the images which are stable, are good in developing characteristic and have high densities to be obtained by specifying various conditions at the time of developing the images with magnetic toner on an organic semiconductor or charge holder and transferring the same onto plain paper.
CONSTITUTION: Electrostatic latent images of surface potentials 500 to 1200V are formed on an organic semiconductor photoreceptor or a photorecetptor having an insulator layer thereon. Or the electrostatic latent images are transferred onto the charge holder insulation layer. These electrostatic latent images are developed by the magnetic toner of resistance 107 to 1012Ω.cm by using the magnet for magnetic brush whose magnetic force is 300 to 1000 gauss on the non-magnetic sleeve surface. The magnetic toner having been developed is transferred onto the transfer sheet whose resistance is more than 1012Ω.cm in volume resistance and more than 1012Ω in surface resistance by using a conductive roller.
