Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a stable image upon elimination of toner blocking by forming a gap formed by the control blade and sleeve surfaces smaller than that formed by the latent image and sleeve surfaces.
CONSTITUTION: When a sleeve 3 and a magnet roller 4 are rotated clockwise with respect to a record 1 formed with an electrostatic latent image thereon, toner is simultaneously carried clockwise by the rotation of the sleeve 3 and counterclockwise by the rotation of the magnet roller 4. Since the toners always make contact with each other to be agitated in mixture in the boundary between the toner layer carried by the sleeve 3 and the toner layer carried by the magnet roller 4, toner blocking is thus prevented. This effect can further be assured by increasing the gap between the surface of the sleeve 3 and the surface of the record 1 larger than that between the surface of the sleeve 3 and the blade 5.
