Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of sags and strays of the coil and to make it possible to shorten the manufacturing time by impregnating an insulating varnich mainly comprising epoxyacrylate, and thereafter ultraviolet rays are irradiated thereto form a resin layer on the coil surface part. CONSTITUTION:A slot cell 2 is mounted on a stator core 1, and a coil 3 is inserted in the slot cell 2 to temporarily bind the coil part. Thereafter, an insulating varnish comprising epoxyacrylate as a main agent and mixed with a hardening agent and a sensitizer is impregnated in the coil part. Thereafter, ultraviolet rays are irradiated on the coil part to form a strong resin layer on the coil surface part. By these procedures, sags and strays of the coil are completely prevented and the quality of the stator, and the racing step and the like of the coil end part can be omitted and the manufacturing time can be shortened.
