Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the assembling work time of a rotary electric machine by blocking a gap between an outer frame and an iron core with a member formed to be coincident to the inner periphery of the outer frame at the outer periphery on the end face of the member and then filling cooling filler therein, thereby readily blocking the gap. CONSTITUTION:A member 19 formed to be coincident to the inner periphery of the outer frame 1 at the outer periphery is mounted on the end face of a stator iron core 2, and a stator winding 3 is wound through the slots of the iron core 2 and the member 19. Therefore, both the iron core 2 and the member 19 are press- fitted into the inner periphery of the frame 1, and the gap between the cutout 2a of the outer periphery of the core 2 and the frame 1 is blocked with the member 19. The coil end 3b side is first placed upside, the cooling filler 18 is filled and hardened between the coil end 3b and the frame 1, then the coil end 3a side is placed upside, and the cooling filler 18 is also filled and hardended between the coil end 3a and the frame 1.
