939,061. Dynamo-electric machines. L. R. POWER CORPORATION. Oct. 28, 1959 [Oct. 28, 1958], No. 36673/59. Class 35. An alternating current machine has two planar air-gaps 103, 104 between permanentmagnet rotors 99, 100 and 101, 102, and a single winding 103<SP>1</SP> (shown displaced) having conductors 105, 106 in both air-gaps. The conductors may be shorter near the outer periphery than near the axis of the machine (Fig. 3, not shown). There may be magnetic inserts between the conductors, and these teeth may comprise laminated strip (Fig. 5, not shown).
