Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the breadth of openings of slots of the stator core of an electric rotary machine to be enlarged when a winding is to be inserted therein and to facilitate winding insertion work by a method wherein the shoulder parts of slot tooth parts are bent in the laminating direction, and after the winding is inserted, the shoulder parts of the slot tooth parts are regulated as to come in parallel with the end face of the core. CONSTITUTION:Thickness of a core material 1 at the shoulder parts 3' of the slot tooth parts are made as thinner than the other part, and the shoulder parts 3' are processed to be bent in the laminating direction of the material 1. Thus processed materials 1 are laminated to form a core 4, and after the winding 5 is inserted in the slots, the shoulder parts 3' are processed to be bent again to make to come in parallel with the end face of the core. Accordingly the breadth W2 of the opening parts of the slots at the coil insertion time can be made as broad, and winding insertion work can be facilitated.
