CONSTITUTION:Random coils 4 protected by a slot insulator 3 are inserted in a semi-closing slot 2 and a wedge 5 and a moulded magnetic wedge 5a are inserted into a slot opening section 2a. Then, a current is applied to the coils 4 and the magnetic wedge 5a is absorbed to the opening section 2a by magnetic flux phim concentrated on the slot opening section 2a and varnish is immersed in this condition to fix the magnetic wedge 5a. In this way, the moulded magnetic wedge 5a will be used even if random coils are used and the effect of magnetic wedge is easily attained.
