Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics and efficiency of a motor by a method wherein a magnetic wedge is positively mounted on the optimum position by mounting the magnetic wedge consisting of a permanent magnet on the opening section of a semi-closed groove accommodating random wound coils. CONSTITUTION:As a mgnetic wedge, a permanent magnet 6 of ferrite family is inserted in the opening section 2a of a semi-closed groove 2 wound with random coils 4 and varnish impregnation treatment is applied to the whole part of an iron core 1 under the condition that the magnetic wedge is attracted to the opening section by the magnetic force and the magnetic wedge is bonded and fixed to the opening section 2a. In this way, the magnetic wedge 6 will not drop but can be mounted on the optimum location of the plate even for the random wound coils and can also be used in safety even if the magnetic force weakens.
