Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase loss reduction effect without any reduction in magnetic absorption area by a method wherein by an insulator which is placed among a magnetic clamp supporting a lead wire which is connected with a winding the distance between the magnetic clamp and the lead wire is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: In a gap among a magnetic clamp insulator 17 composed of a sector-shaped hardened wooden block is provided. In this insulator 17 a through hole 18 for path of a lead wire 14 is provided. An electrostatic shield 19 made of an aluminum cylinder is inserted into the hole 18, and both upper and lower ends of it are shaped to be round. The electrostatic shield 19 is maintained to be the same electrostatic potential as a laminated magnetic metal core 16. By the lead wire passing through the shield 19 a required insulating distance between the shield 19 and the lead wire 14 will only be limitted a distance required in a uniform electrostatic field.
