Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a motor while decreasing loss and heat generation by filling a slot opening with soft magnetic powder attached by thermo- setting resin, which is magnetically adsorbed thereon and heated to harden. CONSTITUTION:The soft magnetic powder is mixed with unreacted thermosetting resin. After agitated and dried, the mixture is crushed with a ball mill or the like to make the soft magnetic powder attached by the thermo-setting resin. The powder P thus formed is placed on a support base 8A and surrounded with a stator core 1. Under such a condition, a winding 3 is energized to magnetize the powder P so as to be adsorbed on the slot opening and then the powder is heated to harden. This can form the magnetic wedge of proper magnetic permeability thereby improving the efficiency of the motor while decreasing the loss and heat generation.
