Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the effluence of immersed resin in the remaining part of the surface of a coil and to improve the insulating property of the coil by drip-feeding and immersing non-solvent type resin in the coil, coating solvent type resin on the surface of the coil, thermosetting the resin, and further immersing in vacuum the non-solvent type resin on the remaining part. CONSTITUTION:When randomly wound coil 5 for insulation, non-solvent type resin is first dripped and immersed in the coil and is heated to be gelatinized in the first step. In the second step, solvent type resin is coated on the surface of the randomly wound coil, and in the third step, the resin is then heated to simultaneously harden both the non-solvent type and solvent type resins. In the fourth step, the non-solvent type resin is immersed in vacuum in the remaining space in the slot 2, and in the fifth step the randomly wound coil is eventually simultaneously heated and hardened.
