Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a low burning rate of a dust to feed precisely from a materials balance situation in an incinerator by obtaining the materials balance through measuring exhaust gas flow rate, exhaust gas composition and air quantity fed into the incinerator.
CONSTITUTION: A dust fed through a hopper 1 burns on a grate 2, and a combustion gas is exhausted in the atmosphere from a combustion chamber 5 by way of an exhaust gas flue 6. A combustion air detector 7 is provided in this case, and further an exhaust gas flow detector 9, a water content detector 10, a carbonic acid gas detector 11 and an oxygen detector 12 are provided in said exhaust gas flue 6. In addition, a cooling air detector 8 is provided in a blast duct 14 of a cooling air blowing fan 4. Thus, flow rate and composition of an exhaust gas in an incinerator and quantity of the air fed therein are detected on respective detectors, then water content and combustible component of a dust in the incinerator is obtained from values detected as above, and a low burning rate of the dust to feed is obtained from the quantity of each component.
