Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain combustion after igniting in a good patern by controlling temperatures of air for drying and combustion and quantity of air for drying automatically to obtain the best values, thereby, enabling to keep a final position of drying process at a constant position substantially.
CONSTITUTION: A refuse incinerating furnace is provided with a stoker 5 for drying and a stoker 6 for combustion, while feeding ducts 16, 17 are provided at the respective stokers 5, 6 for feeding air for the drying and combustion. In this case, a total quantity, water content and CO2 gas content of exhausted combustion gas are detected by detectors 20, 21, 22 and thereby a total incinerated quantity is also detected, thereafter, quantities of combustible component and water contained in the refuse are operated in an operating device utilizing outputs of the above- described detectors, further, low calorific value of the refuse in obtained by outputs of the operating device. A damper 26, for adjusting air quantity for drying and/or a damper 27, for adjusting air quantity for combustion, are constituted so as to be controlled automatically in accordance with a relation curve between these outputs and the air quantity for drying.
