Abstract

PURPOSE: To evade abrupt rising of the low calorific value due to preconsumption phenomena of waste, and to obtain the precise low calorific value, by calculating the amount of consumption of oxygen.
CONSTITUTION: The amount of oxygen consumed for burning is caluculated from the amount of waste loaded in an incinerator, the amount of fed air, the amount of steam generated and the oxygen concentration in the exhaust, and based on the amount of oxygen consumed the low calorific value is corrected thereby the low calorific value can be precisely estimated. Thus, even if there is preconsumption phenomena of the waste, since the low calorific value of the waste can always be estimated precisely, the amount of fed air, the amount of loaded waste, etc. can be controlled smoothly.
