Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress generation of smoke and odor at the time of combustion and to make clean an exhaust gas by providing combustion detecting means within a secondary combustion chamber, controlling the output from a magnetron and, at the same time, also controlling the quantity of combustion air by a signal from combustion detecting means. CONSTITUTION:With the lapse of a combustion time, the quantity of refuses 20 is reduced and when the combustion quantity is reduced, the temperature of a combustion gas is lowered. Combustion detecting means 23 detects the lowering of the temperature of the combustion gas and transmits a signal to a magnetron 7 so as to increase the output of the magnetron 7 and to increase the quantity of air supplied. Thereby, the quantity of a combustible gas generated is increased and the combustion gas temperature is raised. Accordingly, when the combustion detecting means 23 is set so that the temperature of the combustion gas assumes a value in accordance with the necessary quantity of combustion, the quantity of combustion does not change even after the lapse of the combustion time, and hence it can hold a predetermined value. Therefore, the refuse can be controlled to burn and generation of smoke and odor can be suppressed, thus making clean the exhaust gas.
