Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an economical incinerator, which is designed to ventilate air effectively so that waste of plactics, rubber, etc. and refuse containing moisture can be combusted completely with ease. CONSTITUTION:An incinerator of this invention comprises a cylindrical combustion chamber 1 of a suitable size, a pivotally movable fire grate 2 pivoted at 3 at the bottom of combustion chamber 1, a conical ventilating chamber 5 with ventilating holes 4 disposed downwardly of the fire grate 2, and a flue 7 connected to the top of combustion chamber 1 by the intermediary of a conical sleeve 6. In the above arrangement, ventilating chamber 5 is in a conical form, so that air introduced into combustion chamber 1 from hoels 4 is distributed over the entire lower surface of fire grate 2 and passes smoothly therethrough, which will be effective in attaining satisfactory combustion. Further, air drawing function of flue 7 is improved and evaporation of moisture is promoted by the function of conical sleeve 6 disposed between combustion chamber 1 and flue 7, so that combustion is also promoted.
