Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a boiler with an exothermic gas production appratus in which a combustion gas can be utilized as an atmospheric gas, steam can be obtained by utilizing a combustion heat effectively and also generated quantities of an exothermic gas and steam can be regulated optionally.
CONSTITUTION: With a switch valve 28 open and a switch valve 29 closed, the boiler water is sent to a boiler drum 2 through a feed pipe 30, and at the same time combustion of fuel is performed with a burner 12 at an air ratio 1.0 or below. A high temperature combustion gas thus obtained is led to pass through a flue 3 and a furnace tube 5 portion to heat the boiler water and generate steam, and a combustion exhaust gas which has been cooled with that heat exchange and exhausted out of a combustion exhaust gas outlet 19 is cooled by a gas cooler 21 and dehumidified, then deprived of carbonic acid gas and the like if necessary so as to be an exothermic gas of low dew point. In this case, combustion is regulated with the burner 12, however, if steam is needed further, combustion by a burner in a combustion chamber 13 is usually regulated at the same time.
