Abstract

PURPOSE: To make compact the structure of a boiler plant by allowing a fire tube to project from the shell of a boiler body and to penetrate through a heat exchanging chamber, without separately arranging a heat recovering apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: The fire tube 3 of a boiler is extended to form a projection part 4, and a part of a heat exchanger is formed through the utilization of the shell 16 of the boiler, and said projection part 4 is utilized as a heat exchanging chamber 17, for example, air preheater or feed-water heating device. Thus, the efficiency of boiler can be increased to 92%, without arranging separately a heat recovering apparatus. A numeral 1 designates a flue and smoke tube boiler, 2 designates a furnace 5 designates a through-canister water, and 19 designates a burner.
