Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish recovery of heat employing a burning furnace coated with no carbon, oxides or the like with the temperature controlled beyond a cooling temperature which intiates solidification of P2O5 on the wall surface of the combustion furnace with which combustion gas containing P2O5 generated by burning phosphor in dry air comes in contact.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid phosphor is sprayed to a combustion furnace 7 with a burner 16 while combustion air is fed into the combustion furnace 7 with a blower 18 via a dehumidifier 19 . Combustion gas containing P2O5 of about 2,000°C burned in the combustion furnace 7 is cooled down to 1,200°C with a surrouding wall 8 composing the cooling wall of the furnace, and inducted to a hydration chamber in the subsequent process through a boiler outlet 20. Boiler water fed to a steam drum 12 through a feed pipe 13 the cooling wall and convection steam pipes 17 through a circulation pump 11. Cooling the cumbustion gas, it recovers the heat and turned into a mixture of water and steam, returning to the steam drum. In the drum 12, the mixture is separated into gas and water. Only steam is extracted via a mian steam piping 14.
