Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the construction, reduce size and improve the heat absorption efficiency by forming the furnace wall with a radiation heat transmission radiator and providing a horizontal evaporator in a flue.
CONSTITUTION: A furnace 1 is constituted by a water-cooled wall tube constituting a radiation heat transmission radiator 2 and provided with upper and lower bases 8 and 7, and a radiation horizontal evaporator 12 coupled to a steam drum 3 and a forced circulation pump 9 is provided in the flue. With this arrangement, the boiler water within a steam drum 3 is allowed to fall by natural circulation forces through a non-heated descent pipe 6 down to the lower base 7 and raised while producting vapor in the radiation heat transmission evaporator 2 to be led past the upper base 3 to the steam drum 3 for separation of gas and water. Meanwhile, boiler water within the steam drum 3 is forced by a forced circulation pump 9 through a communication duct 15 and a valve 14 to the horizontal evaporator 12 to be gasified there by absorbing the heat of the exhaust gas and then led to the steam drum 3 for separation of gas and water. Thus, the intended end is achieved since only the steam drum 3 is used as drum and also a horizontal evaporator is 12 used.
