Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the low temp. reduction powdering index and to reduce a slag amount by a method wherein a part of the return ore compounded in a compounding stock material in a concn. of about 20% is finely pulverized and CaO, SiO2 components which are constituting elements of bond are concentrated in a finely pulverized portion with a particle size of 1mm or less.
CONSTITUTION: In case of preparing the sintered ore by a Dwight and Lloyd type sintering machine 1, the exhausted sintered ore is screened on a screen 3 after cooled by a cooler 2 and the remaing portion on a screen is supplied as a product 4 into a blast furnace 13. The under screen portion is screened by a reclassifying screen 6 with a mesh size of above 1mm and 3.5mm or less and the upper screen portion is stored in a hopper 11A as a return ore 7 to be reclassified. The return ore 8 under a screen is treated by a crusher 9 and the crushed return ore 10 is stored in a hopper 11B. The return ore 7 to be reclassified, the crushed return ore 10 is compounded in a ratio corresponded to necessity and sent to a cut-out bin 15 as a compounding return ore 12 and compounded into a stock material 14 in a predetermined amount and mixed in a mixer 16 to be sent to a sintering machine 1 as a compounded stock material 17. Thereby, an SiO2 content of a sintered ore can be reduced to 5% or less.
