Abstract

PURPOSE: To make image medium reusable any times by forming an electrostatic latent image on the image medium and making a hologram by the transmitted light coherent to this image medium and reference light.
CONSTITUTION: The photoconductive layer 4 on an image medium 1 and the photoconductive layer 9 of an image making photoreceptor 6 are so disposed as to approach to each other opposedly. When negative voltage is applied between both conductive layers 3 and 8 and an original 11 is radiated by a light source 10, its reflected light passes through an imaging lens 12 and lets charge carriers be generated in the conductive layer 9 of the image making photoreceptor 6. These charge carriers are attracted to the image medium 1 by the applied voltage, whereby an electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of the conductive layer 4. Thence, the electrostatic latent image is developed by reversal toners by a developing roller 13 to form a positive visible image. Next, coherent light 14 is applied to the image medium 1 and its transmitted light 14' is condensed by a condenser lens 15 and is applied together with reference light 16 to a dry plate 17, whereby the hologram of the original image is made. Thereby, the hologram may be readily made from the original which is not sufficient with light transmittivity.
