Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain two color electrophotographic images of distinct black images by using the photoreceptor comprising laminating a first photoconductive layer which is not sensititve to A color light and a second photoconductive layer which is sensitive to A color light on a conductive substrate and developing after letting the same be charged by the specific method.
CONSTITUTION: The photoreceptor obtained by laminating a first photoconductive layer 1b which is not sensitive to red (A color) light and a second photoconductive layer 1c which is sensitive to at least red color light on a conductive substrate 1a of used. The photoconductive surface is charged negative (at the same time positive charges are captured at the interface of 1c and 1b) (1); next, it is charged positive with the charge quantity less than the abovementioned charges to decrease the negative potential of the photoreceptor surface (2); after this, the light images of the original 4 composed of white ground 4a, black images 4b, red images 4c are radiated to the photoreceptor surface to form the latent imates of negative, positive and zero potentials corresponding respectively to the black color images, red color images and white ground (3); thence these are developed (4) by using positively charged black toner 5, negatively charged red toner 6.
