Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily construct a continuous wall of a predetermined width by a method wherein the ground is excavated in a plate-shaped form by jetting upressurized water together with pressurized air, and grout is injected into the excavated hole, in a high-pressure strut continuous-wall constructing method for consturcting an underground continuous wall.
CONSTITUTION: Plural strut insertion holes 3 are bored in the ground 4 at regular intervals by a drill, and H-steels 5 are placed as struts in the holes 3. A multiple spindle borer 6 equipped with a continuous-wall forming device 7 is placed between two H-steels 5 where the continuous wall is to be constructed. While excavating the ground 4 by jetting pressurized water from jet holes 24, 25, and 27, the device 7 is lowered using the H-steels as a guide. In this case, a pressurized-air zone formed by air blown off from an air blow-off pipe 23 ensures effective excavation. After a plate-shaped excavated space is formed between the H-steels 5, the device is slowly drawn up while feeding grout material instead of pressurized water.
