Abstract

PURPOSE:To make mass-production of a recording head for recording of high quality and high speed by a method wherein an operating chamber with a piercing orifice is formed and one open end of the piercing orifice is joined with a relay chamber for feeding a liquid, while near to the other open end is formed a slit. CONSTITUTION:A part A is formed by coating an anchor layer 2 of epoxy resin in the main on one surface of a flat plate 1 of glass and the like and further coating an adhesive-agent layer 3 on the plate, while forming plural number of long and narrow grooves 4 and cutting off the same. And, a part B is prepared by laminating an accumulating layer 6, a heater-resistor 7, electrodes 8, protecting layer 9 and a filler layer 10 sequentially on a substrate 5 of alumina and the like and cutting off the same. Then the part A and B are aligned and stuck to each other in such a way as the grooves 4 and a pattern 13 of the heater-resistor correspond to each other, to form an operating chamber block C. Furthermore, to the block C thus formed is fitted a relay chamber block D prepared by joining side-plate parts E, E', a ceiling- plate part G and tube-like parts H, H' sequentially. Next, after an end surface 15 to be provided with an orifice being ground, a slit block I prepared by joining a bottom-plate part J, side-plate part K, K' and a front-plate part together and a conduit part M are fitted and thus a finished recording head can be obtained.
