Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the recording head integrated in high density by a method wherein fine grooves as passages for recording ink are engraved in a glass base plate made of silicate glass and the like and these grooves are joined to a block prepared by laminating a heat-accumulating layer on metal such as iron. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of a flat plate 1 formed of any of silicate glass, high silicate glass, borosilicate glass or aluminosilicate glass, an anchor layer 2 whose main constituent is epoxy resin is laid and baked and later a bonding agent layer 3 is applied thereon. At the surface thus coated, a prescribed number of long slender grooves 4 are formed by cutting by using a diamond blade cutter. On the other hand, on one surface of the base plate 5 formed of alumina, single-crystal silicon, aluminum, iron or other metal is obtained a component B whereon the heat- accumulating layer and the like are laminated. These parts A and B are joined to each other through alignment of position so that the grooves 4 and heating resistant patterns 13 are positioned oppositely to each other.
