Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an air exhausting apparatus as well as to stabilize the supply of heat sourse vapor by a mechanism wherein the pressure of water recirculating between a solar energy collector and a heat accumulator is holded above atmospheric pressure and heated warm water is stored in a heat accumulator. CONSTITUTION:The water 4 within a heat accumultor 11 is supplied to a collector 1 by a pump 21a and heated by solar energy to convert the said water to warm water 4A and this warm water is supplied to a heat accumulator 11. The temp. of the above described warm water 4A is about 98 deg.C and, therefor, the pressure of the water 4 flowing within the collector 1 is set above atmospheric pressure and holded. The warm water in this regenerator 11 is supplied to an evaporating chamber 5a through an expansion valve 22, by an air exhausting apparatus 19, maintained under reduced pressure and vapor 5 is generated. This vapor 5 is entered into an apparatus 6 for preparing fresh water from sea water and heat exchanged with the sea water 7 to condense a part of vapor and converted to water. This water and the remainder of vapor are entered into a condenser 19a along with the fresh water 9 and the remainder of vapor is condensed to water and stored in a tank 18.
