Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of utilization of energy by reutilizing for a turbine, etc. the thermal energy obtained from a cooling system including a laser gas, a laser tube, a resonator mirror, a power source and the like by providing a heat exchanger in the CO2 laser oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust heat generated in the CO2 laser oscillator 61 is made to be absorbed by a laser cooling oil 62 and is made to circulate between the oscillator 61 and a Freon evaporator 64. Next, high-pressure Freon vapor 65 produced in the evaporator 64 is supplied to a Freon turbine 66 and inflated there to turn the turbine 66, whereby electricity is generated by a dynamo 67 directly connected with the turbine. Furthermore, inflated and cooled low-temperature Freon vapor 68 is condensed through cooling by a Freon condenser 69 and turned into liquefied Freon 70, and is further returned to the evaporator 64 by using a circulation pump 63b, evaporated there again by heating and thus the aforesaid cycle is repeated. Simultaneously, the heat in the condenser 69 is transmitted to the cooling water 71 passing through a watering pump to the cooling water 71 passing through a watering pump 63c and thereby the efficiency of utilization of heat in the system as a whole is raised.
