Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve utility of the above-titled apparatus, by providing a heat engine and an absorption type heat pump of Rankine cycle engine operated by waste heat possessed by engine cooling water, and enabling to control the temperature of engine cooling water with ease.
CONSTITUTION: A heat pump cycle is so constituted that coolant is circulated successively through a compressor 1, four-way valve 2, heat exchanger 3 on the side of atmospheric air, receiver 5, expansion valve 6, heat exchanger 7 on the side of load, four-way valve 2, and compressor 1, at the time of space cooling in summer. The abosorption type heat pump cycle comprises a generator 13 to which is introduced an engine cooling fluid heated by an engine 10 that has a boiling point higher than 120°C and a freezing point lower than -8°C. Coolant gas produced by absorbing heat in the generator 13 is circulated from a four-way valve 21 successively through a heat exchanger 22 on the side of atmospheric air, receiver 24, expansion valve 25, heat exchanger 26 on the inside of a room, four-way valve 21 and absorber 17, so as to cool the coolant in a tube 19 by a coolant sprayed into the absorber 17.
