Abstract

PURPOSE: To air-condition a target to be air-conditioned and to supply hot water, by effectively utilizing the calorific power of the cooling water and the loss calorific power of the exhaust gas of a Stirling engine, an external combustion engine, while keeping the temp of the cooling water of a radiator at extremely low temp.
CONSTITUTION: In a Sterling engine produced in such a manner that a heater 7, a recuperator 8 and a radiator 9 are connected between an expansion space 5 and a compression space 6 of working fluid in an expansion cylinder 2 and a compression cylinder 4, a heat accumulating tank 12 receiving water, mixed liquid of water and ethylene glycol, etc. as heat accumulating bodies is mounted, said radiator 9 is cooled by cooling fluid from a circulation pump 13, and an automatic valve 16 for detecting the temp of the heat accumulating tank 12 and for selecting the flow pathof cooling fluid in response to the necessary temp is installed to ensure that fluid automatically flows to a heat exchanger 14 utilizing the exhaust heat of the heater 7 and the heat accumulating tank 12 or a by-path system 15. 11 is a prime mover, 20 an absorption refrigerating machine and 22 a fan coil unit
