Abstract
PURPOSE: To generate power by virtue of thermal difference between the solar energy and cool water, by heating the working fluid by hot air in a solar collector to turn a turbine and cooling the working fluid by cool water.
CONSTITUTION: The energy of air a heated by a solar collector 1 is stored in a heat storage device 2. The air a flows in a heating device 5 composed of many capillary tubes to heat working fluid b such as Freon 113 flowing through the tubes. The fluid b thus heated by the heating device 5 runs a low pressure gas turbine 7 and flows in a cooling device 8. The turbine 7 is connected with a power generator 7a. Cool water c from a lake or sea also flows in the cooling water by means of a pump 9 to cool and liquefy the working fluid b.
