Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve an economical ocean temperature difference generator, where the water heater floating on the sea can be sunk into the sea during the typhoon.
CONSTITUTION: A water heater 1 floating by the air in the inside and absorbs the solor heat to produce the sea water of relatively high temperature contains a hot water returning tube 4 for returning the hot water completed of the heat exchange by an evaporator 20 through a hot water take-in tube 2 having an enlarging sea water take-in port 3 at one end and a return water discharge port 5 to said water heater 1. The evaporator 20 will evaporate the secondary operating medium by the sea water of relatively high temperature from the hot water take-in tube 2, then the vapor of said medium will drive a turbine 23 and generate the power. The used vapor is returned to the liquid by a condenser 21 then returned by a pump 22 to an evaporator 20.
