Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce temperature of cooling water and reduce contamination by heat of a low temperature difference power generating plant which employs a heat medium of Rankine cycle as a nonazeotrope medium by providing a reheating device to heat the heat medium by cooling water from a condenser outlet.
CONSTITUTION: A heat medium D evaporated at an evaporator 11 through which heating source fluid E flows works at a turbine 12 to drive a motor 15. The heat medium D after passing through the turbine 12 is condensed at a condenser 13 and sent to a reheating device 18 by a heat medium circulating pump 14, and then, it is returned to the evaporator 11. A regenerator 16 and a preheater 17 are provided behind the reheating device 18. As the temperature of the heat medium which flows into the evaporator 11 is risen by the reheating device 18, only a small quantity of heat of the heating source fluid E is required. Also, as the temperature tw3 of the cooling water goes down, contamination by heat can be reduced.
