Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide ready design of a device for utilizing solar heat by operating a pump motor by the output power of a solar battery disposed adjacent to a hot water unit and always circulating medium in predetermined temperature range in the device to thereby improve the stability and efficiency of the device.
CONSTITUTION: This device for utilizing solar heat consists of a pump 3 at part of a medium circulating route having a hot water unit 4, a conduit 1 and a heat exchanger 2, and a motor 5 operated by the output of a solar battery 6 disposed adjacent to the unit 4 for operating the pump 3. Since the motor 5 increases or decreases its rotation in response to the solar light irradiation strength with the above constitution, medium of narrow temperature range is always supplied to a heat exchanger 2. Accordingly, it can prevent glass tube in part of the conduit from damaging due to overheat, and since the heat exchanger 2 may efficiently exchange heat within the above temperature range, the exchanger 2 can be readily designed.
