Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve thermal stability in medium temperature range by using perfluoro-2-alkyl-tetra-hydrofurane as operating fluid.
CONSTITUTION: The operating fluid which is shown by Formula I and evaporated by the waste heat source introduced into an evaporator 1 flows into a turbine 2, passing through a speed governing valve 7, and drives the turbine 2, and is sent to a condenser 5 and transformed into saturated solution by cooling water 9. The power obtained by the turbine 2 drives a generator 4 through a reduction gear 3, and is transformed to electric power. The operating fluid condensed is returned to the evaporator 1 by a circulating pump 6, and thus Rankine cycle is constituted.
