Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the cooling of absorption liquid and to maintain the concentration of absorption liquid in an absorber by radiating the absorbed heat to the air by the absorption liquid itself as a thermal medium without using cooling water.
CONSTITUTION: The amount of absorption liquid circulating through an absorption liquid air-cooling unit 9 is increased by a pump 8, restraining the thermal rise in an absorber 11 within a minite level. Meanwhile, a part of the absorption liquid is regulated in the discharge in a discharge regulator 12, and supplied to a regenerator 14 through a heat exchanger 13 to be heated and boiled up. Then, the refrigerant vapor generated there is cooled and liquefied in a refrigerant-condensing cooling unit 15 and returned to the refrigerant liquid circuit. The absorption liquid is concentrated in the regenerator 14, and conducted through a pipe route 24 and a heat exchanger 13 to give heat to the absorption liquid to be sent to the regenerator 14. It is then returned to the absorption liquid circuit properly through a space above a pool 7 to maintain the concentration in the absorption liquid circuit.
