Abstract

As a result, a single sensor can detect a temperature and light both at the same time; the temperature is detected by measuring the resistance between electrodes 2, and the light is by measuring the resistance between electrodes 3. In another way, substrate 1 is electrically insulated from electrode 3 by glass, SiO2 or the like to remove the influence of a temperature higher than the measurement value of electrodes 3. In addition, the sensor is protected from an external atmosphere by being covered with an insulating and transparent layer. The sensor like this can be miniaturized as compared with two sensors used and suits to a miniature apparatus such as a camera, so that low cost and improved reliability can be realized.
