Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate making the photoelectric transducer longer in length by providing scanning IC pellets on both sides of sensors on a glass substrate and increasing sensor density with respect to wiring density.
CONSTITUTION: A thin film photo detector array 12 is formed on the surface of a glass substrate 11 and scanning silicon IC pellets 13, 13' are secured to both sides of the sensors on the same substrate. Conductors 16 are wired from the odd numbered unit elements 12' of the array 12 toward the IC pellet 13 and conductors 16' are wired from the even numbered unit elements 12" toward the IC pellet 13'.
