Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.受信した信号を処理して信頼測度信号を作り、かつソフト判断デコーダを 用いて受信した信号をデコードすることにより信号をデコードする方法であって 、 (a)既知の信号を受信し; (b)受信した既知信号に対する信頼測度信号が、受信した既知信号の誤り統 計の対数表現からどの程度違っているかを表わすデータを記憶し; (c)未知の信号を受信し; (d)受信した未知信号に対する信頼測度信号に対して補正因子を適用し、こ の補正因子は該記憶したデータから得られたものであって、該対数表現から違っ ている信頼測度の程度を減縮するようにし; (e)ソフト判断デコーダを用いて補正された信号をデコードすることを含む 方法。 2.信号のフレーム期間に対して信頼測度信号の和を形成し;かつフレームの 品質を示す信号を作るためにしきい値と比較することを含む請求項1記載の方法 。 3.信頼測度信号を作るために受信したディジタル信号を処理し; その信号のフレーム期間に対して信頼測度信号の和を形成し;かつフレームの 品質を示す信号を作るためにしきい値とその和を比較することを含む信号をデコ ードする方法。 4.フレームの品質を示す前記信号に応答して、前記しきい値によって判断さ れたものよりも低品質であるフレームのさらに処理することを抑制する請求項2 又は3記載の方法。 5.信頼測度信号を作るために受信したディジタル信号を処理するための手段 と; 信頼測度信号に補正因子を適用して、信頼測度信号が受信した信号の誤り統計 の対数表現から違っている程度を減縮するように動作する変換手段と; 補正した信号をデコードするためのソフト判断デコーダとから成る信号をデコ ードするための装置。 6.前記補正因子が (a)既知の信号を受け; (b)受信した既知信号に対する信頼測度信号が受信した既知信号の誤り統計 の対数表現から違っている程度を表わすデータを記憶することにより実行される 試験から得られるものである請求項5記載の装置。 7.信号のフレーム期間に対する信頼測度の和を形成するための手段を含む請 求項5又は6記載の装置。 8.信頼測度信号を用意するために受信したディジタル信号を処理するための 手段と; 信号のフレーム期間に対する信頼測度信号の和を形成するための手段と;及び 、 フレームの品質を示す信号を作るためにしきい値と和とを比較するための手段 とからなる信号をデコードするための手段。 9.前記しきい値により判断されたものよりも低品質であるフレームをさらに 処理することを抑制するためにフレームの品質を示す前記信号に応答して動作す る手段を含む請求項7又は8記載の装置。 10.各継続するフレーム期間に対して、フレームシーケンス内でビットをフ ォーマット形成し、(a)フレームシーケンスの始めでフォーマット形成された ビットと、(b)フレームシーケンスの終りでフォーマット形成されたビットと の関数である誤りチェックビットを生成することを含む、たたみ込みコーダとい う手段によってビットをコード化することで成るデータを伝送する方法。 11.上記ビット(a)はフレームの最初の50%からとられ、またビット( b)はそのフレームの終りの25%からとられたものである請求項10記載の方 法。 12.フレームシーケンス内でビットのフォーマット形成をするための手段と ;たたみ込みコーデングのための手段と;及び、 (a)フレームシーケンスの始めにフォーマット形成されたビットと、 (b)フレームシーケンスの終りにフォーマット形成されたビットとの関数で ある誤りチェックビットを生成するための手段とで成るデータ伝送用の装置。 13.前記ビットは、フレームのはじめの50%からとったビットと、そのフ レームの終りの25%からとったビットである請求項12記載の装置。 14.添付の図面を参照して実質的に記述したディジタル信号をデコードする ための装置。
