Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.カバー層および再帰反射性要素の単層を含む、封入レンズ再帰反射シート をトップ表面上に含む再帰反射性材料であって、前記単層の第一部分は上向き輪 郭プロファイルを有して配置され、そして前記単層の第二部分はより低い実質的 に平らな形態で配置されており、複数の前記第一部分および複数の前記第二部分 を含む再帰反射性材料。 2.前記再帰反射シートは埋封レンズ再帰反射シートおよびカプセル化レンズ 再帰反射シートからなる群のいずれかを含む、請求項1記載の材料。 3.85°を越える入射角での前記材料の再帰反射輝度は前記第一部分を有し ない前記材料の再帰反射輝度よりも高い、請求項1記載の材料。 4.滑り防止性粒子を前方表面上に更に含む、請求項1記載の材料。 5.前記再帰反射シートが、透明微小球の単層、前記微小球の前方表面が埋め 込まれているカバー層および前記微小球の後ろ側にある随伴反射手段を含む埋封 レンズ再帰反射シートを含む、請求項1記載の材料。 6.前記再帰反射シートがキューブコーナー要素の単層を含む、請求項1記載 の材料。 7.露出レンズ再帰反射シートを更に含む、請求項1記載の材料。 8.前記カバー層および前記カバー層上の層からなる群より選ばれた少なくと も1つの層の中に着色剤を更に含む、請求項1記載の材料。 9.前記第一部分の少なくとも一部分および前記第二部分の少なくとも一部分 のトップ部分を被覆している不連続の着色剤含有層を更に含む、請求項1記載の 材料。 10.付形層を更に含む、請求項1記載の材料。 11.前記封入レンズ再帰反射シートおよび前記付形層が実質的に同一の広が りを有する、請求項10記載の材料。 12.前記封入レンズ再帰反射シートおよび前記付形層が同一の広がりを有し ない、請求項10記載の材料。 13.前記第一部分のトップが前記第二部分よりも少なくとも0.1ミリメー トル高い位置にある、請求項1記載の材料。 14.前記第一部分のトップが前記第二部分よりも約1〜約4ミリメートル高 い位置にある、請求項1記載の材料。 15.前記第二部分が少なくとも3ミリメートル幅である、請求項1記載の材 料。 16.前記第一部分が突起物の形態である、請求項1記載の材料。 17.前記第一部分がストリップの形態である、請求項1記載の材料。 18.前記ストリップが実質的に真っ直ぐである、請求項17記載の材料。 19.前記ストリップが正弦波のネスト状配列で配置されている、請求項17 記載の材料。 20.前記ストリップが相互に結合されたネットワークで配置されている、請 求項17記載の材料。 21.接着剤層を底表面上に更に含む、請求項1記載の材料。 22.前記材料は前記トップ主要表面の下に順応層およびスクリム層の少なく ともいずれかを含む、請求項1記載の材料。 23.前記封入レンズ再帰反射シートは前記トップ表面の実質的に全てを被覆 している、請求項1記載の材料。 24.前記標識が約7.5〜15センチメートルの幅および30センチメート ルより長い長さを有する、請求項1記載の材料。 25.請求項1記載の材料でマークした道路表面。 26.上向き輪郭部分が前記道路の表面により画定されている、請求項25記 載の道路。 27.一定の入射角で、いずれかの配向角での前記材料の最小再帰反射輝度が 、いずれかの他の配向角でのこのような材料の最大再帰反射輝度の少なくとも5 0%である、請求項1記載の材料。 28.ガードレール、ジャージーバリア、建物の壁、フェンス、電柱、トラフ ィックコーンおよび乗物側面からなる群より選ばれた垂直に配置された表面に適 用される請求項1記載の材料。 29.再帰反射性材料を製造するための方法であって、 (a)カバー層、および再帰反射性要素の単層を含む封入レンズ再帰反射シート を用意すること、 (b)前記再帰反射シートの底面に順応層を適用すること、および、 (c)前記順応層に付形層をラミネートすること、ここで、前記単層の第一部分 は上向き輪郭プロファイルで配置され、そして前記単層の第二部分はより低い実 質的に平らな形態で配置される、 を含む方法。 30.前記トップ表面の特定の部分の上に滑り防止性粒子を適用することを更 に含む、請求項29記載の方法。 31.再帰反射性材料を製造するための方法であって、 (a)カバー層、および再帰反射性要素の単層を含む封入レンズ再帰反射シート を用意すること、ここで、前記単層の第一部分は上向 き輪郭プロファイルで配置され、そして前記単層の第二部分はより低い実質的に 平らな形態に配置される、および、 (b)前記上向き輪郭プロファイルを充填材料で裏充填すること、 を含む方法。 32.着色された再帰反射性材料を製造するための方法であって、 (a)カバー層、および再帰反射性要素の単層を含む封入レンズ再帰反射シート を用意すること、 (b)前記再帰反射シートの底面に順応層を適用すること、 (c)前記順応層に付形層をラミネートすること、ここで、前記単層の第一部分 は上向き輪郭プロファイルで配置され、そして前記単層の第二部分はより低い実 質的に平らな形態で配置される、 (d)前記上向き輪郭プロファイルをデボス加工し、比較的に平らなトップ表面 を生じさせること、次に、 (e)前記トップ表面に着色層を適用すること、および、 (f)前記再帰反射シートをエンボス加工し、前記上向き輪郭プロファイルを反 射シートから突出させること、 を含む方法。 33.前記カバー層の中に少なくとも1種の着色剤を含ませるか、または、前 記カバー層のトップの上の層の中に少なくとも1種の着色剤を含ませること、か らなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1つの工程を更に含む、請求項32記載の方法 。
